“The human brain was built to process content visually.” Marcel Just, Director of the Center for Cognitive Brain
Imaging at Carnegie Mellon University.
We live in a visual world. According to research compiled by 3M Corporation, visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text. And since 65% of people are visual learners (according to the Social Science Research Network), one of the best ways to communicate your firm’s messages is through visual content. Yet, when we respond to RFQs and RFPs, we tend to submit text-heavy documents and expect our readers to digest the content. As marketers, we need to make our submittals stand out from the competition through easy-to-understand visuals. In this session, we will learn the basic structure of infographics, discuss the tools to visualize data, and explore ways to turn your firm’s messages into compelling graphic elements.
