We spend our days singing the “Pick me!” chorus. As more join in, and our clients tire of the song, it becomes harder to be heard over the cacophony. How do we separate our voice from the noise? Make this business development process fun and interesting again? Add meaning to the process of winning work? In this session, we will look at some of the innovative approaches firms in our industry (and perhaps outside as well) are using to reach deep into their clients’ organizations. These firms are implementing programs outside of project delivery, helping clients engage stakeholders for early buy-in, highlighting solutions that can change a community’s dynamic and a project’s trajectory and in the process, they are altering perceptions.
